Randy’s elegant décor reflects the finest of Germany and her home town of  Wuerzburg on the river Main.   Between Frankfrut and Nuenburg.   It is renown for it’s excellent wine.  Which you may taste at Randy’s Bed and Breakfast. Wuerzburg was a fortified baroque town, and a Celtic center of learning in ancient times.    The palace was built in 1723 by Balthasar Neumann.  The paintings in the palace are by Diablo. 

 

  You will view wonderful European and Alaskan original paintings at Randy’s home.     The finest crystal pieces of Germany shimmer in the sunlight through the finest European lace curtains in the living room.  Adjoining is the  dining room featuring Rosenthal china and some Cobalt pieces.  For the collector of fine china there is for viewing various pieces of Wedgwood, Havilland, Lemoge,  and Prussian china also some handcrafted antique sterling silver pieces of artisans from Germany.

 

The common room in the lower level features an outstanding collection of Alaskana.     In the mid level you may be treated to a taste of Alaska garden  opening onto the most friendly, cozy patio in the state.   A cool glass of lemonade or a glass of wine while sitting under the  shade of an  Alaska birch will encourage you to spend more time of your vacation at Randy’s  special abode.

 

The European comfort of bedding  is exquisite, you will be in dreamland in the best of down quilts, pillows and the finest of linens from Europe.  Optional bedding is available for anyone allergic to down.     The décor of the bedrooms you may note in the photos shown in this site feature varied collections of items from Russia, America, Mexico, and Europe.

 

   A guest will leave with the feeling they have traveled to Europe and Germany.   Especially the Continental cuisine.  Randy’s specialty breakfasts will leave the guest more than satisfied and commenting on her gourmet entries for weeks to come.
 

Located in Eagle River, Alaska in the Anchorage, Alaska area about 25 miles from Anchorage International Airport. Eagle River is on the Glen Highway on the way to Mount McKinley National Park and Fairbanks, Alaska.  Nestled up against the Chugach Mountains, this community of Alaskan chalets, resort homes, woodlands, glacier valleys, wildlife, and serene hiking trails is only a short drive north of downtown Anchorage.  For those travelers looking for a quiet retreat from the city traffic, or for a wonderful rest on the way to the Mat-Su valley and further north, this host offers the finest in comfort, affordability, and Alaskan hospitality.

      Eagle River
  Has a current population of about 30,000 friendly folks. The community continues to attract visitors because of its pristine beauty and modern conveniences without the hustle and bustle of a big city. Plenty of open space remains allowing residents and visitors to thrive in this beautiful Alaskan environment. Eagle River and the nearby community of Chugiak comprise the gateway to Chugach State Park.
